Marat’s Tub

Marat’s Tub is a novella I wrote for my Advanced Fiction Writing course in college. Modeled after the Henry James and Victor Hugo novels I was obsessed with at that time, it tells the story of a doomed marriage and the heroine’s obsession with a bath-tub she has purchased, believing it to be the tub where Jean Paul Marat was stabbed to death by Charlotte Corday.
